PLAY
Motion Blur

PLAY

It's very difficult to play hide-and-seek in an empty straight corridor. Photographing the running kid under the low neon light is easy. (Yeah, right.) This is just one-of-many and the post processing applied is mild to moderate.

For today, Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Perpetuum Mobile. Rest in peace, Simon Jeffes & PCO.

  1. Awesome! I love the faded colours, the ducking kid is perfect and the motionblur is spot on. This would look great on a wall.

  3. I agree with Atlantis. Looks like I'm going to be able to cut and paste from one day to the next..."Your work inspires me."

  4. I absolutely LOVE this. The colours and blur are great and his croching pose really do enhance the feeling that he has nowhere to hide in this very empty place. Awesome feeling of aloneness and possibly even a bit threatening in its attitude. Excellent work.

  5. What Kim said. She took the exact words right out of my mouth.

  7. That's a very effective effect you've created. I like the colours too.

  8. I really like this one but it doesn't read kid to me at first glance. It looks like some weirdo in an apartment hallway doing something he shouldn't.
    Another great image!

  9. Oh, I love this. The post-processing, the way he's crouching, the motion blur. It all brings along a strong mood. Awesome!
