SUPERNOVA
Zoom Blur

SUPERNOVA

"A supernova is a stellar explosion that is more energetic than a nova. Supernovae are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this short interval a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun is expected to emit over its entire life span." (Wikipedia)

A little different space music for today: Hector Zazou - Caoineadh Na Dtrí Muire (Keening Joys of the Three Marys) from his celtic "Lights in the Dark" album. Enjoy!

  4. I wonder what the original object is, one of those lamps with "straws". It does look like fireworks.

  8. The dots at the beginning of each star trail, make this look so authentic. The colors work very well also.

  10. Nice use of zoom blur! I've been trying a zoom blur for my shoe for a while now, but I can't get an effect that seems to work. Maybe having it off center might work, like you did, but that's tough. Any tips?
